The Wales Transport Research Centre (WTRC) was set up in 2001 to develop an independent transport analytical facility in Wales. The WTRC is Wales’ leading research centre for applied research and consultancy, covering all aspects of air, land and sea transport for both public and private sectors.


The WTRC has an unrivalled knowledge and expertise of the transport issues of Wales and the surrounding regions.
