The LINC project aims to build upon the success of Bwcabus and TrawsCymru developments, to pilot an integrated transport network (ITN) across South West Wales. The ITN will be designed to respond to the transport needs of rural communities and reduce social exclusion.
LINC is a collaborative project between Welsh Government, Carmarthenshire County Council, Ceredigion County Council, Pembrokeshire County Council the University of South Wales and Traveline Cymru. Other partners also include the Community Transport Association, local bus operators, and Hywel Dda Health Board.
The LINC project is part funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe Investing in Rural Areas. The 3 year project commenced on the 1st November 2016.
